Reflections

Thoughts to ponder.

Whatever you are going through, find the strength to hang on. You made it this far. Don't give up.

With so many things demanding our attention, we need to learn how to manage our life. Work and life balance are not about spending equal time on work and life. The reality is that the scale will sometimes tip to one end. Don't panic. It is ok. Just make sure to tell people what is happening so that expectations are managed. Now, if the scale is tipped to one end of the scale at all times, reassess and adjust accordingly. And oh, while you are trying to balance your life? Have fun, laugh, and maintain a cheerful heart. It will do you more good than a frown.

The best way to protect yourself is to guard your mouth. Think before you speak. The negative words that come out of your mouth will haunt you and the person you said it to. You wouldn't want to eat your own words, right?

You are a bridge connecting people to where they are going. Some people would breeze through your life intent on heading to where they are going. Others will stay longer to enjoy the view confident that they are safe with you. Regardless of how long they stay aim to make their stay worthwhile. Make them say, "I'm glad I took that bridge."

Know who you are following and where you are going. If the path you are walking on is leading you to destruction, STOP! Reassess and change your course.

Too much drama in your life? Wish you have a life with less strife and drama? Watch your words and what you are saying.

Exercise wisdom. Choose when to speak.

Having a bad day? Cheer up and breath. You will survive today too. You are an overcomer.

Be the kind of person that people want to be with. Live a life full of love, peace and kindness.

Be wise. Always learn and listen for fresh insights.

Create a lively mixture of colors in your life canvas,

Let your life bring hope and encouragement to others.

Your past will not overshadow your present and your future when you are looking at the light.

Exercise wisdom and kindness at all times.

The road you are taking may be rough but beauty still surrounds it. Lift your head. Look around. Discover the beauty that surrounds your journey.

Work out your insecurities.

Do not dwell on your past.  There is so much more in store for you. Open your eyes to the great wonder of what is unfolding before your very eyes.

Look at your present in the light of your future and adjust accordingly.

"Reflection is only a partial understanding of truth if it does not translate itself in practice into commitments to the common good and justice. Truth is not mere abstraction but something to be done and is only apprehended when this is realized." Adolfo Perez Esquivel
